…is simply a return to obedience.
As you may have noticed, I’m not in Hawaii right now. I had previously posted about attending photography school with YWAM’s University of the Nations in Kona, Hawaii this January. However, God is very good at rearranging my plans and He always enjoys taking me on adventures. His plans are far greater than my own.
A few months ago I heard a still, small voice telling me to get an application for The Burn Internship (a 4-month full-time ministry internship here in Virginia), which just so happened to be starting at the almost the exact same time as photography school, which I had already been accepted to. “God? That makes no sense…” was my response. But I was obedient and picked up an application anyway, not planning to do anything with it until I had more confirmation… And so the application sat untouched on my desk for a good four weeks.
After a crazy series of events, I received so much confirmation about doing the internship that I couldn’t ignore the application anymore…So, I filled it out, turned it in, and got accepted. I will be beginning the internship in just a couple of days!
You may be wondering about the photography school… Photography is a huge passion of mine, and I still feel led to do the school… God just put in on hold for a bit. I am officially the first student accepted for the School of Photography 1 beginning in January of NEXT year :)

I’m so excited to begin this internship. It’s going to be an amazing, consecrated time of stretching and of going deeper into the heart of my Savior. Your prayers are much appreciated as I enter this new season.
